23 Jan 08 - I was jonesin' for a great root beer but I didn't find it in Jones Pure Cane Soda Root Beer.
15 Jan 08 - Just as I start hankerin' for spring training, a six-pack of Killebrew Root Beer showed up on my doorstep. It's not baseball, but it's good.
3 Jan 06 - Happy new year. I'm out of jail, finally. It took a while but I was able to clear my name. Acting as my own lawyer I was able to show that it is not identity theft if you taken on the identity of someone who's been dead nearly 150 years (Henry Weinhard). Unfortunately, during my incarceration my domain registration (on root-beer.info) lapsed and was snapped up by someone else. I offered to buy it but he (stephenrwilson@yahoo.com) wrote, "I wasn't planning on selling it, but if you make me an offer that I can not refuse, I'll consider selling it." I was tempted to go all Godfather on him (I learned new skills in prison) but my wife, suffering from a year of no conjugal visits, persuaded me to register this domain instead.
13 Jun 04 - Wow. Sorry for the lack of updates or response to e-mails. I switched ISPs to Verizon DSL and it turns out the host for this site blocked most of the IP addresses I was being assigned (all of 70.16.*.* - there's a range for you). I exchanged numerous e-mails with them and they wouldn't address the problem so I've moved the site to a new host. It's good to be able to access one's site.

23 Jun 03 - Enough votes accumulated to show how visitors have rated the assorted root beers presented.
19 Jun 03 - Changed algorithm calculating average visitor rating from weighted (a la IMDB) to simple average. Weighted average lowers scores for higher ranked sodas and increases scores for lower ranked sodas, given a relatively small sample size. I didn't like that.

13 Jul 01 - Where does the time go? Let's see, I got a new computer (from Dell, it rocks), but transferring files is a pain. I thought I'd try a different HTML editor so I gave HotMetal Pro (v 5) a try. It sucks. I'm back to Dreamweaver (should have never left it). So I've got some new reviews anyway, after a business trip to New York (Fingerlakes region). Adirondack, Wild West are done, up next is Frozen Run, which I think is root beer-like but it's hard to tell at first. Some new love letters too. Whee.
