- Your basic bargain root beer. High carbonation,
light color, decent but short-lived head. For the price, it's a good
root beer but it doesn't stand up against more upscale fare. Since Shasta
is headquarted in my home town, I was hoping this would be the best
root beer I've ever tasted. It's not. A drinkable root beer, average
all around. I mark it down for being overly carbonated and give it a
C-.
