Spike here, reporting live from Long Beach, CA. Normally I bring root beer home with me when I travel but I couldn't do that this time. The only way I could buy this root beer was either by the glass or by the "growler". A growler is 64oz and since the bottle is not pressurized it will last only about 2 days. So down to business... Short-lived head. This is the darkest root beer I've seen. No light passes through a glass of this stuff. I'll have to guess at the ingredients...maybe molasses? It has a heavier flavor - not too bad though. Nothing really jumps out at me with this root beer. It has a decent taste but no real character. It's maybe slightly above average so I'll say C+.
