Spike says:
- Nice head, one of the better ones. Big and foamy,
though not as long lasting as Henry's. Medium colored, a bit thin, and
over-carbonated, yet strangely refreshing. The vanilla helps temper
the carbonation bite. A good root beer for hot days, methinks. Perhaps
the wintergreen gives it a cool feeling. Fortunately they laid off the
anise. In any case, not something I'd have laying around regularly,
but pretty good, especially considering it's one of those "natural"
drinks. And in a nod to the tree-hugging natural drink lovers, the can
reads, "Entire can protected by a water base coating". What
does that mean? The can is metal, so what is some "water base"
coating going to protect against? Water-based = water soluble, so first
sign of condensation and that coatings gone, unless it's like latex
paint. Whatever. I will say this one surprised me, losing points for
bubbliness....I'll give it a B-.
