Not too carbonated. I surprised myself by guessing molasses as an ingredient
(which it is) - it comes through quite strongly. The drink actually
smells like molasses, which doesn't thrill me. Not that I don't like
molasses, it's great when baking, but it is a strong flavor and it dominates
this brew. It would be a decent root beer except for that. At least
the anise isn't too strong. This was a tough one to grade - except for
the molasses it has a good flavor, which is often hard to come by in
the all natural herb drinks. However, when I think "would I want
to drink this regularly", the answer is no. So I'll do this...I'll
give it a B+ as a novelty drink, but a D+ when compared with the other root beers.
