The Ingredients:- Filtered carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color,
natural and artificial flavor, sodium benzoate (a preservative), quillaia
and yucca extracts, citric acid and acacia.
Spike says:- Now this looks like a root beer should. Dark,
foamy, mysterious. Unfortunately it smells like Life Savers. Wintergreen
Life Savers, to be exact. Should I stop here? It's like looking at a
beautiful woman...beautiful except for her moustache. If this had less
birch/wintergreen it would be darn tasty. Fairly smooth, a little bite
from the carbonation, good flavor (if a bit sweet). And yucca? Hey,
not only is it a "foaming agent" and a laxitive but both the
US and Canada allow yucca to be labeled "as an aid in the control
of manure and / or ammonia odors". Now that's handy. Oh well, don't
let me keep you from other things (like Hank's most excellent cream
soda). C+.
